Classroom Enrichment Grant Application


We know you work hard to provide the very best for your students. We want to work equally hard to help teachers like you!

The more money we raise, the more #CashForClassrooms enrichment grants we can fund. Please help us spread the word about the benefits of donating to this campaign. This year we're asking donors to put their money where it matters most, contributing to either our STEAM focus or to help meet the social and emotional needs of students across our district. Keep up to date with us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for information you can share about this campaign. 

Applications are due November 30, 2020.

Applicants must complete the following information and be prepared to upload a proposal signed by all applicants and the site administrator.  There is no template but be sure your site administrator's signature is included on the proposal. Criteria is listed below. 

  • A teacher may be included as the applicant on only one grant application.
  • Multiple grants submitted by the same grade level or group must be for different projects and applications must be individually written speaking to the needs of your students.
  • Please do not copy and submit grants written by other teachers.
  • Grant applications must be completed and submitted by CUSD employees only.
  • Grant applications are rated on completeness, scope, impact and need. This year, priority may be given to applications with a Social/Emotional or S.T.E.A.M. focus.


Applications Due November 30th, 2020.

  • Create a Word Document as your proposal to be uploaded with your electronic application (max 2 pages).
  • Be sure all criteria listed is included in your proposal.  Listing these each as a separate item is especially helpful.
    • Purpose included (problem, need/opportunity, student gain).
    • How program will be implemented.
    • Specifics regarding measurements for evaluation.
    • Teaching methods.
    • How this project supports/enhances CUSD curricula/standards.
    • Project info, budget (resources/costs/vendors), and supplemental info.
    • If costs exceed, explanation included about how overage will be paid.
  • The end of the proposal must include a place for each applicant and the administrator to sign, indicating review and approval.
  • Print the proposal and have all applicants and the site administrator sign.
  • Scan the proposal and save as a PDF file to be uploaded with application.
  • Complete information below and upload signed proposal in the field following the application.

An email confirming receipt will be sent immediately upon submission. Please contact us if you do not receive confirmation. Grantees are responsible for obtaining/ordering their own project supplies and materials. Details are included with award letters.
